These are Regular
flat feet. They are

flat feet. They
have a separated
big toe so that
the doll can wear
thong sandals.

| As you can see, true thong sandals will not fit Regular flat-footed dolls. I make my thongs for them using clear elastic across the toes, or else a decorative ribbon to disguise the fact that there is nothing actually between the toes. The Geisha foot is also shorter and slightly narrower than the Regular foot, so even in styles that are not thongs, it is important to order the correct size. Regular shoes will be too loose on Geisha feet, and Geisha shoes will be too tight on Regular feet. There may be some styles that fit both, but for now this is the best way for me to make sure your shoes fit your doll. |
